What counts as a successful query.
A query is one page requested by one of your extractors. It is successful when the page loads and returns data. That single unit covers the whole job: fetching, JavaScript rendering, proxy routing, retries and extraction. There is no separate charge for rendering, no per-gigabyte proxy bill and no fee for attempts that fail.
Blocked requests, timeouts, errors and pages that return no data are not billed. A category page with twelve pages of results is twelve queries. A product page is one query, whether it yields three fields or thirty. Your dashboard shows successful, failed and empty counts per run, so the bill is never a surprise.
Plans include a monthly allowance. If you go over, the overage rate for your plan applies per 1,000 additional successful queries and appears on the same invoice. Upgrading mid-cycle moves you to the higher allowance and the lower overage rate immediately.

Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. The 30-day trial gives you full platform access and 5,000 successful queries with no card. It stops at 5,000 queries or 30 days, whichever comes first, and you are never charged automatically.
How much does Import.io cost?
Standard is $199 a month billed annually ($249 month-to-month) for 50,000 successful queries. Professional is $399 ($499) for 200,000. Advanced is $699 ($899) for 500,000. Overage is $7, $3.50 and $2.50 per 1,000 respectively. Above 500,000 a month, managed enterprise pricing applies.

Is the API included?
Yes. The trial and Standard include rate-limited API access. Professional and Advanced include full API access and webhooks.
Which plan do I need for protected sites?
Standard runs on datacenter proxies and handles most public sites. Professional adds regional proxies for harder targets. Advanced includes premium and residential proxies for heavily protected sites. Managed programs handle everything else, including logins.
What happens if I go over my allowance?
Overage is billed per 1,000 additional successful queries at your plan's rate and appears on the same invoice. If you're regularly over, upgrading is cheaper: the next tier has a higher allowance and a lower overage rate, and switches take effect immediately.
Can I cancel?
Monthly plans cancel anytime from your account and stop at the end of the current month. Annual plans run to the end of the twelve-month term.
How many users can I have?
Trial, Standard and Professional are single-account. Advanced includes multi-user access with team management. Managed programs include as many users as your team needs.
Is Import.io only for enterprise customers?
No. Self-service plans from $199 a month can be bought directly with no sales call. Enterprise and managed contracts exist for teams needing more than 500,000 queries a month, dedicated infrastructure or an SLA; they are an option, not a requirement.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Point-and-click and AI extractors build a full pipeline without code. The API, SDKs and webhooks are there if your team prefers to work programmatically.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Import.io is GDPR and CCPA ready. Pipelines detect and remove personal and restricted data, access is scoped to your account, and every run is logged.
What's the difference between Import.io and Aperture?
